A 100-year-old woman managed to escape from her home after being raped by a thief. Police in Kansas, have arrested one of the suspects for raping the woman during a robbery in her home. Wichita Police have arrested 35-year-old Kasey Nesbitt, on Friday. He was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on suspicion of rape and aggravated robbery.
The 100-year-old woman, who lives alone, told police that she was awakened by two intruders. The men entered her home through a back door and raped her. She later managed to get out of her home and went to a neighbor’s house around 7:15 a.m. She told her neighbor that the men were still in her home. Police took DNA samples and began an investigation, which led them to the 35-year-old suspect. Kansas Department of Corrections records show that Nesbitt has been in and out of jail since 2000, with multiple convictions for burglary and theft.
