Fresh facts has emerged late Sunday night about the identity of the Man whose wife allegedly gave a hot chase resulting in an accident which claimed her life.
Findings showed that both couple Mr and Mrs Sonnie Bassey are lawyers and the deceased was a mother of three children. Barrister Sonnie Bassey is from Akwa-Ibom, Late wife is Barr Claret Opara Bassey is an Igbo woman while it's being rumored and alleged that the Side Chic is one Miss Leticia from Ugep in Yakurr LGA of CRS.
Recall that the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), in Cross River, Maikano Hassan, had earlier confirmed a lone incident that killed a middle aged woman who has now been identified as Mrs Bassey, lawyer and mother of three in Calabar who died in a ghastly motor accident while allegedly trying to catch husband with “Side chick".
The woman was said to be in pursuit of her husband who was alleged to be with a “side chick” in his car when she lost control of her vehicle, killing herself in the process.
An unconfirmed report said a source at the hospital said Mr Sonnie was begging the lifeless body of his wife to forgive him while urging her to come back to life and take care of their three Children.
Meanwhile some of her friends that are still in shock over the incident have dropped comments on the Facebook wall of Barr Claret Opara Bassey
